Description
A small yet very pretty Rhodochrosite stalactite with the entire termination of the stalactite. Unlike most Rhodochrosite specimens from Catamarca, this one is not a slice or cross-section, but rather an entire stalactite. Note the internal banding at its bottom where the specimen was originally attached. This specimen is unique in that the outer layer contains visible platy crystals.
