Description
Lustrous, opaque, black Pargasite crystals in sharply contrasting translucent white Calcite. The Pargasite crystals have smooth crystal faces with complex faces on the edges that give them a rounded appearance. Ex. Bob Holzer (1934-2009) collection.

Katukubura, 6.5 km east of Kolonne, 20 km NW Embilipitiya, Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka (Ceylon)
