Description
Large collection of confiscated Diamond crystals and gemstone rough that originated from a seizure of smuggled goods. These are most likely "Conflict Diamonds" and instead of destroying them, the Smithsonian deposited them in their collection for research. Display of the Smithsonian Institution at the 2014 Tucson Show.
