Babingtonite in which there is a greater content of manganese over iron over as the second element. Its
chemical formula is Ca
2(Mn,Fe
2+)Fe
3+Si
5O
14(OH). Manganbabingtonite is often regarded as a variety of Babingtonite, but it scientifically classified as a separate species.
