Semi-precious gemstone
Gem or gemstone used in jewelry that lacks one or more property (such as luster, hardness, or rarity) that would make it into a precious gemstone. Some define Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald as the precious gemstones, and all other gemstones as the semi-precious gemstones.
