Description
Elongated Laumontite crystal partially overgrown with Stilbite microcrystals, in a classic fishtail twin formation. The yellow color is due to urethane coating applied 30 years ago to prevent degradation due to the Laumontite dehydrating. Could be soaked off in acetone.

Pine Creek Mine, 18 miles west of Bishop, Inyo County, California
