A classic, old-time, gemmy and lustrous 3.6 x 2.7 cm Phosgenite crystal on matrix from the famous Monteponi Mine in Sardinia, Italy. This piece comes with a Dr. A.E. Foote label, a very well-known worldwide dealer, who died in 1895. He obtained many personally, it is known, on a trip to the mine in the 1870s. 5.6 x 4.9 x 4.4 cm
