Multiple Boleite Cubes on Matrix
Collection
Robert Lavinsky
Description
An unusually rich specimen of Boleite with fantastic aesthetics, featuring almost a dozen crystals in a cascade down well-trimmed matrix. They have the best quality, indicated by a slightly metallic sheen of blue at the surface. The piece has unusual richness to it in terms of the concentration of crystals floating about. As with all such, this is very friable matrix and when collected by Larson and Swoboda in the 1970s was stabilized to help it keep together.
