Bright Blue Stalagmitic Chalcanthite
Description
Bright blue Chalcanthite with interesting stalagmitic shape. Based on the crystal habit, this most likely formed from copper-rich precipitation dripping inside mine shafts. This specimen was featured in the public display exhibit at the 2014 Springfield Gem & Mineral Show in the display case of Dan Evanich.
