Description
Large parallel crystals of black columbite-(Fe) with sharp, clean crystal faces and well defined shapes. One corner is incomplete. This is an excellent specimen from this mine first opened in 1929. Ex John A. Rorer, Jr. collection #134; Collected of a UVA Geology field trip in April 1949.
