Description

Velvety green Malachite pseudomorphs after blocky Azurite crystals to 12 mm across. The Azurite crystallized first, then altered molecule-by-molecule to Malachite, maintaining the original form of the Azurite.

Locality

New Cornelia Mine, Ajo, Pima County, Arizona.
