Irregular Pink Spinel Octahedron
John Betts - Fine Minerals
Translucent pink octahedral Spinel crystal with remnants
of white marble on some faces. All faces are flat with partially etched luster
and are naturally crystallized, including the concave bottom where it grew
into the surrounding marble. The crystal grew simultaneously with the surrounding
matrix, resulting in naturally crystallized irregular crystal surfaces.
