Molecule

Molecules are chemically grouped atoms that are the smallest particles a mineral can be divided without changing its chemical or physical properties. Molecules are the fundamental structure of all minerals and define a mineral's chemical structure.
(A chemical grouping of one individual element without an impurity can also be considered a molecule.)
