Glossary of Terms


1) Describing a substance that contains atoms whose nuclei are are unstable, which causes it to slowly decay and emit radiation. Radioactive minerals take an extremely long time to decay if kept in proper settings.

2) (Verb) - Emitting alpha rays, beta rays, and gamma rays.
